Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a visionary and technically skilled AI Lead who leads the design, development, and governance of enterprise-grade AI solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on technologist who thrives in driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and delivering scalable AI systems that transform business operations.

As a core member of the AI team, you will lead the technical strategy, establish best practices for AI governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Your expertise in Microsoft Azure AI services, Power Platform, and MLOps will be central to success in this role.

We are seeking a seasoned AI Lead to drive the strategy, architecture, and governance of enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI engineering and enterprise leadership, owning the technical direction across Microsoft Azure AI, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock, and the broader open-source AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a decisive technologist who can operate at both the strategic and hands-on level, delivering scalable, secure, and compliant AI systems that create measurable business value.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AI solutions across Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, AWS Bedrock, and Anthropic Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and the Claude Platform/API), ensuring scalability, security, and seamless enterprise integration
• Lead enterprise adoption of agentic AI, designing and overseeing multi-agent orchestration systems capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, and tool use across complex business workflows
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with vector stores to enable grounded, context-aware AI interactions at scale
• Evaluate and integrate frontier and open-weight LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama, Kimi, Qwen, GLM) across cloud, private-cloud, and on-premises deployments, balancing performance, cost, and compliance requirements
• Promote AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode) to uplift engineering productivity and code quality across teams
• Drive LLMOps and MLOps practices, encompassing model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines, AI observability, CI/CD for AI, and production operations such as performance monitoring, incident response, and change management, to ensure the reliability and performance of production AI systems
• Champion Power Platform and Copilot Studio for enterprise low-code AI automation
• Define and own the enterprise AI security and governance framework, covering data privacy, access controls, model risk management, prompt injection defences, and pre-production AI safety evaluations, and ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and Singapore's Model AI Governance Framework and AI Verify
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise AI opportunities, translating them into commercially viable solutions with clear success metrics
• Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and cultivate a culture of innovation, responsible AI, and continuous learning
• Other duties as assigned

 

Pre-Requisites :

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on AI/ML architecture and development experience, with at least 2 years leading enterprise AI initiatives involving LLMs or generative AI
• Solid experience across Azure AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Search) and exposure to Anthropic Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude Platform/API) and AWS Bedrock
• Experience designing agentic AI systems and RAG architectures, with working knowledge of orchestration frameworks and vector databases
• Working knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps practices, including model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, AI observability, and production lifecycle governance
• Good Python programming skills, familiarity with ML/AI libraries, and with TypeScript/JavaScript for AI-integrated applications
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI governance and Responsible AI principles, including AI safety evaluation practices and exposure to compliance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, Singapore Model AI Governance Framework)
• Exposure to deploying or managing self-hosted or open-weight LLMs in on-premises or private-cloud environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or OpenCode
• Familiarity with containerisation and cloud-native AI infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps)
• Awareness of the AWS Bedrock AgentCore framework for production-grade agentic AI deployments
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences and comfortable presenting at workshops, brown-bag sessions, and company-wide events
• Self-driven and results-oriented, with experience delivering AI initiatives end-to-end in a globally distributed environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate, or Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect) are a plus.
