Projects include visual systems, campaigns, story-driven environments, immersive digital installations, and browser-based experiences.</p> <h3>The Role</h3> <p>We’re looking for designers who think strategically and creatively across a variety of project types. Portfolios should demonstrate conceptual thinking, strategic insight, and exceptional craft. Multidisciplinary skills such as illustration, animation, or spatial design are a plus.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Take ideas from initial concept through execution alongside creatives, technologists, producers and leadership.</li> <li>Develop original design directions and refine work within established brand guidelines and visual centers.</li> <li>Combine conceptual thinking with craft and attention to detail</li> <li>Adapt to different brand styles and visual directions, spotting opportunities for unexpected interactive, environmental, or animation outputs.</li> <li>Find outside inspiration, and bring new thinking and ideas into the studio.</li> </ul> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in a similar role</li> <li>Proficiency in Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud</li> <li>A passion and hunger for learning and up-leveling your craft</li> <li>Portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work (spec work is welcome)</li> <li>A collaborative team player that is motivated, pro-active and positive.</li> <li>Multi-disciplinary interests in other media (illustration, animation, 3D, etc.)</li> </ul> <p>The average salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include qualifications, applicable skills, relevant experience and other budgetary considerations such as location/geography.</p> <p>Hovercraft is a remote-first company, working primarily on Pacific and Mountain time. Anyone/anywhere in the United States is encouraged to apply.
