Live Ops Manager
Fenris Creations London is looking for a Live Operations Manager to join our London team and help shape the ongoing player experience of EVE Vanguard; a new multiplayer First Person Shooter connected to the rich universe of EVE Online.
The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, player-focused operator with a strong understanding of live games, player behaviour, and cross-functional development. You will help drive seasonal content, live events, monetisation opportunities, engagement strategies, and operational planning while working closely with Design, Production, Community, Analytics, Marketing, and the wider development team to ensure EVE Vanguard remains reactive, engaging, and alive.
This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of players, data, creativity, and execution - someone excited by the challenge of operating a living multiplayer game within the vast and player-driven EVE universe.
We believe diversity is a strength and we are looking for talent across the board.
Your Tasks
In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with Game Design, Production, Analytics, Community, Marketing, QA, and the wider development team to help define and execute the live operations strategy for EVE Vanguard.
You will help plan and coordinate seasonal beats, events, updates, rewards, engagement initiatives, and player-facing activities designed to support long-term retention, excitement, and community health. This role requires strong organizational skills, player empathy, analytical thinking, and the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines while balancing player expectations with production realities.
You’ll monitor player behaviour, sentiment, and game health, using both quantitative and qualitative insights to help inform live operations and monetisation decisions as well as future content planning. You will also support the development of scalable operational pipelines, communication rhythms, and release processes that allow the team to react quickly and confidently to player needs.
The ideal candidate has experience operating a live service game, understands modern multiplayer ecosystems, and is passionate about creating memorable player experiences through events, progression systems, social engagement, and evolving content.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving development environment, communicating clearly across departments, and collaborating with both creative and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality live experiences that feel meaningful to players.
You should also have a strong understanding of how live operations influence player retention, monetization, sentiment, and long-term community trust.
