Job Responsibilities :
As a Procurement Intern, you will support the procurement team in managing purchasing processes, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role provides valuable exposure to procurement workflows, supplier coordination, and inventory control within a corporate environment.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement operations and inventory system maintenance within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and ready to contribute to the efficiency of our procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders.
Maintain and update inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
Create and maintain inventory data in the system, including supplier and product master data setup.
Support procurement documentation, filing, and data entry tasks.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
Assist in preparing procurement reports and performing basic data analysis.
Participate in initiatives to improve procurement and inventory control processes.
Pre-Requisites :
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world procurement operations.
Able to commit to a minimum 4-month internship (16 weeks). Preference will be given to a final year student.
