The Role
As part of the Create APAC team, you will be responsible for creating concept designs or UI Icon designs, supporting live updates for projects such as Sims. This position requires extensive experience in generating new designs on American-style cartoon costumes, hairstyles, room view, and UI/UX icons, and you will apply your skills and creativity to solve challenges throughout the R&D process. You will work as part of a team of talented artists under the guidance of the Art Director and in collaboration with Game Designers, Development Directors, and 3D Art Leads.
Responsibilities
- Develop concept iterations for batch updates, guided by the established world view, theme brief, or specific requirements.
- Include 3D sketch models for tasks such as hair design.
- Work with Art Directors and Development Directors to ensure work is delivered on time.
- Follow guidance and feedback from various stakeholders.
- Showcase in-game content through strong rendering and presentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional game development experience.
- Highly proficient in 2D art software such as Photoshop.
- Proficient in at least one 3D software package such as Blender, Maya, etc (nice to have).
- Integrate AI workflows into ideation for faster iteration and production (nice to have).
- A solid grasp of design fundamentals: shape language, composition, layout, color, lighting, vibe, and mood.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality concept art.
