Freelance Social Media Designer / Video Producer (f/m/d)

SEED entered Early Access in July 2026. We're a small publishing team with a fast-moving community, and we need someone who can help us keep up with it.
The role
We're looking for a freelance designer/video producer to create social content across our channels, short-form vertical video, static graphics, motion, and channel assets. You'll work directly with the publishing team on a steady cadence of content, plus campaign moments around updates and events.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed finished storyboards. We'll give you direction, raw capture, and context; you'll bring the craft and the format instincts.
What you'll do
- Cut short-form vertical video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts from gameplay capture, dev footage, and community clips
- Design static and animated graphics for X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord, and Steam
- Turn in-game moments and player stories into content people actually want to share
- Adapt assets across formats, aspect ratios, and channels without losing the idea
- Work within our existing brand guidelines while pushing new formats and finding what works
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of short-form social video, games, or entertainment is a strong plus
- Fluency in editing and design tooling (Premiere / After Effects / DaVinci, Figma / Photoshop / Illustrator, or your equivalents)
- Platform-native instincts. You know that what lands on TikTok isn't what lands on LinkedIn, and you edit accordingly
- Comfort working fast, self-directed, and from imperfect source material
- Games literacy: you understand player culture well enough to tell when something reads as authentic and when it reads as marketing
- Working English (German not required)
Nice to have
- Gameplay capture experience
- Sound design/audio editing
- Experience editing community and UGC footage
- Familiarity with MMOs, simulation, or systems-driven games
