What is the Gaming Hiring Index made of?

The GHI combines four equally weighted components, each normalized to a 0-100 scale for display here: Active Listings (open positions vs. historical average), Posting Velocity (new postings week over week), Market Breadth (how many unique studios are hiring), and Sentiment (ratio of new postings to closures). The composite score is mapped to the 0-1000 range; above 500 indicates an expanding market, below 500 a contracting one.
