Sr Technical Lead - C++ Developer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead to join our Agile game development team at Aristocrat. This role emphasizes hands-on development and technical expertise. You will contribute to complex game projects while promoting engineering guidelines. As a member of our team, you will be involved in crafting world-class gaming content and technology.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C++ (11/14), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and SDLC, along with significant experience building high-performance games. Your contributions will be pivotal in crafting and delivering high-quality, scalable, and performant games while ensuring adherence to timelines and engineering standards. What You'll Do

• Lead the development of complex game features from concept to delivery
• Implement and maintain high-performance game code using C++ (11/14)
• Ensure flawless adherence to engineering guidelines and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine technical requirements and solutions
• Mentor and guide junior developers, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build robust and scalable code structures
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in Agile planning and execution, strictly adhering to timelines
• Optimize game performance and memory usage for various platforms
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate guidelines into game development processes
• Successfully implement new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in game development on C++ (11/14)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SDLC
• Experience working in Linux and Windows development environments.
• Proficiency with tools such as Visual Studio, Git/SVN, GDB, profiling tools, and static/dynamic analysis tools.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems.
• Background in improving game performance and resolving technical issues
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics
• Prior experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
