Fraud Analyst
How You'll Shape Eneba:
By taking full ownership of fraud detection and prevention for one of Eneba’s products.
By analyzing large datasets using SQL to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging attack vectors.
By designing, writing, and optimizing dynamic fraud risk rules that scale with the business.
By owning and continuously improving False Positive Rates, balancing fraud prevention with conversion and customer experience.
By owning 3DS decisioning and optimization across multiple countries, deciding when and how additional authentication should be triggered.
By analyzing conversion, rejection, and verification drop-off rates, and proposing data-driven improvements.
By designing and maintaining fraud detection logic, alerts, and workflows used by Fraud Specialists.
By collaborating closely with Product, Payments, Data, and Engineering teams to improve fraud and verification systems.
By tracking and reporting fraud trends, clearly communicating insights and recommendations.
By taking responsibility for decisions made, learning from outcomes, and iterating quickly.
What makes you a great fit:
Proven experience in fraud analysis, payments risk, or risk management, with clear ownership over outcomes.
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with large datasets (SQL is mandatory).
Experience writing and maintaining dynamic fraud risk rules.
Effective communication skills, able to explain complex topics in simple words adjusted for different stakeholder groups.
Deep, practical knowledge of 3DS and how authentication strategies differ across countries and regions.
Solid understanding of fraud patterns, user behavior, and payment-related risks and KRIs.
Confidence in making data-backed decisions and owning the impact of those decisions.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Full professional proficiency in English.
