As a Cinematic Designer with EA Sports FC, you will need to be able to integrate complex animations into the game engine to industry standards. You will work closely with the Animators, Artists, and Software Engineers to seamlessly integrate these animations into the game.


Responsibilities:

  • You will create compelling action and emotionally motivated moments.
  • Implement Cinematics into engine matching our standards and processes. Triage issues, collaborate with Animation
  • You will uphold established cinematic standards across the game and broader IP to maintain a design language.
  • You will manage the scope and budget of assigned tasks to meet project deadlines without jeopardizing the player's experience.
  • You will participate in reviews, stand-ups, playtests, and work across departments.
  • Help develop and collaborate new concepts to functional prototypes alongside the guidance of Production, Animation, Cinematics and Software Engineer teams
  • Help us implement scalable industry workflows and enforce best practices for developing a non-linear, dynamic, and immersive and seamless real-time experience for our users.
  • Work side-by-side with engineers to develop new games content solutions, tools and pipelines for animators and designers in the animation space.

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES * British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$92,900 - $129,200 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
 In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
