Team Assistant, Marketing (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Job Summary

The Team Assistant, Marketing supports the day-to-day operations and execution of marketing activities across the Square Enix MMO business within the GSA, Eastern Europe and Middle East regions. Working within regional marketing, PR, influencer and product management, this role provides essential administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

This is an entry-level position designed for an organized, proactive, and adaptable individual looking to develop a career in video game marketing. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all areas of the marketing mix, including digital marketing, consumer events, PR, influencer relations and product management, while supporting the team in delivering impactful campaigns and player experiences.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position with the possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and organizational support to the local MMO Marketing team across all marketing disciplines and ongoing projects.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, helping ensure assets, timelines, approvals, and deliverables are managed effectively.
• Assist with the organization and logistics of consumer events, trade shows, community activations, media tours, and other activities.
• Support PR and influencer initiatives through briefing preparation, asset distribution, creator and media communications, shipment coordination, and activity tracking.
• Maintain project timelines, trackers, meeting notes, and internal reporting documents to support effective project management and communication.
• Monitor campaign activity and collect performance data from internal and external sources to support reporting and campaign evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to agreed quality standards.
• Support additional marketing, administrative, and operational tasks as required by the business.

Qualifications and Skills

• Initial professional experience in marketing, PR, communications, administration or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate campaign performance and inform decision-making.
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels and platforms, including social media and digital advertising.
• Native German and business-fluent English language skills (spoken and written).

Der Team Assistant, Marketing unterstützt die täglichen Abläufe sowie die Umsetzung von Marketingaktivitäten für das MMO-Geschäft von Square Enix in den Regionen GSA (Deutschland, Schweiz, Österreich), Osteuropa und Naher Osten. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Regionalmarketing, PR, Influencer Marketing und Produktmanagement übernimmt diese Position wichtige administrative, organisatorische und operative Aufgaben, um die effiziente und termingerechte Umsetzung von Kampagnen und Initiativen sicherzustellen.

Dies ist eine Einstiegsposition für eine organisierte, proaktive und flexible Person, die ihre Karriere im Videospielmarketing aufbauen und sich weiterentwickeln möchte. Die erfolgreiche Kandidatin bzw. der erfolgreiche Kandidat erhält Einblicke in sämtliche Bereiche des Marketing-Mix, darunter Digitales Marketing, Events, PR, Influencer Marketing und Produktmanagement, und unterstützt das Team bei der Umsetzung wirkungsvoller Kampagnen und positiver Spielererlebnisse.

Die Stelle ist zunächst auf 12 Monate befristet. Eine Verlängerung ist abhängig von den geschäftlichen Anforderungen sowie der individuellen Leistung möglich.

Aufgaben & Zuständigkeiten

• Administrative und organisatorische Unterstützung des lokalen MMO-Marketingteams über alle Marketingdisziplinen und laufenden Projekte hinweg.
• Unterstützung bei der Planung, Koordination und Umsetzung integrierter Marketingkampagnen sowie bei der effektiven Steuerung von Marketingmaterialien, Zeitplänen, Freigaben und Projektergebnissen.
• Unterstützung bei der Organisation und logistischen Durchführung von Events, Messen, Community-Aktivierungen, Pressereisen und weiteren Marketingaktivitäten.
• Unterstützung von PR- und Influencer-Aktivitäten durch die Vorbereitung von Briefings, die Verteilung von Marketingmaterialien, die Kommunikation mit Influencern und Medienvertretern sowie die Koordination von Versandprozessen und das Tracking laufender Maßnahmen.
• Pflege von Projektzeitplänen, Besprechungsnotizen und internen Reporting-Dokumenten zur Unterstützung eines effizienten Projektmanagements und einer transparenten Kommunikation.
• Überwachung von Kampagnenaktivitäten sowie Sammlung und Aufbereitung von Leistungsdaten aus internen und externen Quellen zur Unterstützung von Reportings und Kampagnenauswertungen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams und externen Partnern, um eine termingerechte Umsetzung von Projekten sicherzustellen.
• Übernahme weiterer Marketing-, Verwaltungs- und operativer Aufgaben entsprechend den Anforderungen des Unternehmens.

Qualifikationen & Fähigkeiten

• Erste Berufserfahrung im Marketing, in der PR, Kommunikation, Administration oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich ist von Vorteil.
• Ausgeprägtes organisatorisches Talent sowie die Fähigkeit, mehrere Aufgaben, Prioritäten und Fristen gleichzeitig zu koordinieren.
• Hervorragende Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten sowie das Talent, effektiv mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams und externen Partnern zusammenzuarbeiten.
• Analytische Denkweise sowie Erfahrung im Umgang mit Datenanalyse-Tools und -Methoden zur Auswertung von Kampagnenerfolgen und zur Unterstützung fundierter Entscheidungen.
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse digitaler Marketingkanäle und Plattformen, insbesondere im Bereich Social Media und digitaler Werbung.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
