RESPONSIBILITIES
People Partnership

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, influencing key strategic and operational decisions

Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes

Guide leaders through organizational change, aligning communication and infrastructure to support the business

Coach leaders at all levels to strengthen decision-making, leadership capability, and team effectiveness
-
Co-design the performance management program with Total Rewards & People Operations, and lead leader-facing execution, including goal setting, calibration, talent reviews, and succession planning

Build career frameworks and internal mobility programs in partnership with Total Rewards on job architecture

Lead manager development and leadership training, from new-manager onboarding to ongoing coaching and workshops

Partner with Total Rewards & People Operations and Talent Acquisition so talent programs connect smoothly to compensation, promotions, and hiring

Turn talent insights into action to drive performance and growth across Jam City, partnering with People Operations on the data and reporting behind them

Lead, coach, and develop the People Partner team, setting clear priorities and building a high-performing, collaborative team of trusted advisors

Champion the use of AI in talent programs and People Partner work, finding where AI can strengthen manager support, improve program delivery, and free the team for higher-value work

Collaborate with global People teams to deliver consistent programs across regions

REQUIREMENTS

8+ years of HRBP or talent management experience, including ownership of company-wide talent programs

2+ years managing HR or People Partner team members

Proven ability to build credibility and partner with executive-level leaders

Experience designing and launching performance management, career development, or leadership programs

In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment and labor laws; California employment law experience a plus

Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve HR workflows
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn workforce data into clear recommendations
-
Experience in change management and leading organizational initiatives
-
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
-
Must be local to the greater Los Angeles area and able to work from the office 5 days a week
